SARAZEN Tick Set

Should be part of all outdoor activities in tick-infested areas: the SARAZEN tick set!

The practical storage box contains everything you need to act quickly in the event of a tick bite and to remove the insect safely and quickly:

• 1x tick tweezers with integrated gripping pocket & 1x magnifying glass to remove the tick
• 3x cleansing wipes to clean your hands before removing the ticks
• 3x aqua plaster strips in 30 x 55 mm, 2x aqua plaster strips in 38 x 72 mm: waterproof plasters to cover the bite or other small injuries
• 1x mini-grip bag for storing the removed tick (if a later laboratory test is necessary)

Application tips:

• Clean your hands with a cleansing wipe.
• To remove small ticks: Open the tweezers by squeezing the corresponding buttons with your thumb and forefinger. Grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible (release the buttons to close the gripper). As soon as the tick body is between the pincer grippers, you can pull the tick out with 2 - 3 turns (no matter in which direction).
• To remove ticks that are swollen: There is a gripping pocket at the upper end of the tweezers. Push the notch as close as possible to the skin under the tick's body and twist the tick out.
• You can store the removed insect in the mini bag. It is best to also write down the date of the tick bite.
• The magnifying glass will help you to see the tick better and to grasp it precisely.
• Disinfect the bite site if possible.
• To cover the bite site after removing the tick, use a waterproof plaster of the appropriate size. Simply peel off the protective film on the underside of the plaster and stick it to the clean, grease-free, dry skin. Then remove the upper protective film (marked: "Peel"). Leave on the skin for a maximum of 24 hours and then change.
• If the bite becomes infected, redness, fever or pain in the limbs, consult a doctor immediately!
